We invite you to explore an opportunity located on the beautiful shores of Georgian Bay, We provide primary and some secondary care to a local area population of 60,000 and, in peak season, to a visitor population of more than 150,000.
As our new pharmacist you will work as part of our dynamic team to monitor and evaluate all aspects of drug use within the hospital, and provide clinical pharmacy advice and support to physicians, nursing staff and patients. You will be encouraged to develop and implement new programs that will expand your clinical role and provide an ever-increasing level of care to our patients. You will also assist in the implementation of medication reconciliation and unit-dose dispensing systems at the hospital.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) + Jurisprudence Exams ? Licensure with Ontario College of Pharmacists
4 year Undergraduate Degree (B.Sc) Plus 1 year Post Graduate Internship
The ideal candidate will possess two years experience as staff Pharmacist; however new graduates will be given consideration
Ability to communicate with, teach and train both general public and health care professionals
Motivated to identify growth areas, develop and implement new programs
Experience with Unit Dose and Automated Dispensing Systems an asset
